The SDCN Endurant, known by its registry GPC-805, is a Hammerhead-class General Purpose Corvette commissioned on September 4th 2104 as the intended successor to the SDCX Escapade. The ship was retrofitted for exploration duties. However, it failed to satisfy the needs of the Final Frontier Project and was retired shortly after.
The ship is armed with two forward-facing high-yield autocannons on the port and starboard sides of the vessel and one heavy-artillery canon facing the aft.
Due to staff allocation issues facing the Final Frontier Project at the time, the SDCN Endurant was faced with significant understaffing during its lifespan. This, amongst other issues facing the ship, contributed to the decision to retire and scrap the ship to contribute to the creation of the SDCN Emissary.
